The story

My wife told me to sell some plants. 🌱

So I did what any reasonable person with a soft spot for technology, plants, animals and people would do — I built a whole platform for it. Welcome to The Succulent Guy: a little corner of the internet where you can browse the plants we're rehoming, fall for one, and reach out. No carts, no checkout, no pressure — just a chat.

Our home reached, let's call it, peak greenery. Every windowsill, shelf and forgotten corner had become a nursery. The collection had to find new homes — and rather than a quiet sell-off, I figured we could turn it into something that actually does some good.

So here's the deal: every plant has a single, fair, negotiable price. And 25% of whatever each plant sells for goes to a charity — a different one each month. You get a plant with a story; a good cause gets a real, visible contribution. Everybody wins, especially my windowsills.

How the 25% works

  1. Browse & enquire

    Find a plant you like and message me on WhatsApp or email. The listing's reference number comes along automatically.

  2. We sort out the details

    We agree on the plant, the price and collection — all over a normal conversation. Nothing is bought or reserved on the site itself.

  3. 25% goes to the month's charity

    Once a plant is sold, 25% of the price is set aside for the charity of that month. You can see the running total right here on the site.

  4. A plant finds a new home

    You get a plant with personality; a good cause gets a hand. That's the whole idea.
